Had a great breakfast at Slim Goodie's Diner on Magazine Ave before whisking
Erik off to the airport. The streets in New Orleans are somewhat confusing,
and after a lot of wrong turns we found our way to the airport. Our goodbye
was rushed as we arrived an hour before his flight, and the impending hurricane
seemed to match the mood of the day. Deciding to wait out the worst of it, I
spent some time in a Kinko's before hitting the road. Took the scenic route
along the gulf coast of Mississippi and Alabama, finishing the day in Mobile, AL
where I couchsurfed with Daniel.
