Spent most of the day driving across the state of Louisianna. Decided to
check out an alligator park near Natchitoches, which turned out to be a
bit disappointing. Couchsurfed in New Orleans with Laura, and hopped on
the nearby streetcar line into the city for a night of eating and drinking.
Bourboun Street was utter chaos, but had to walk it just to experience it
first hand. We had dinner in the French Quarter (crawfish is tasty, btw)
and stumbled into a bar a bit removed from all the madness. Don't
remember much of the train ride back, but I know we both slept very well.
