Actually slept in before heading out for the day as the sleep was much needed and there
were no spectacular sites to see at sunrise. Hit the road around 10am. Stopped near
Raton, NM to find a geocache and continued on to Capulin Volcano National Monument, where
we walked the rim of the volcano. From the top we could seek CO, NM, TX, and OK. Stopped
along old Route 66 in Conway, TX and signed our names to VW bugs. A long driving day, we
arrived in Oklahoma City around 9:30pm, where we couchsurfed with Jessica and James who
fed us a great dinner while watching the Showtime parody of Reefer Madness.
